William Cooper Procter : ウィキペディア英語版 | William Cooper Procter
William Cooper Procter (1862 – May 2, 1934) was the grandson of William Procter, the co-founder of Procter & Gamble Company. He was notable for creating a profit-sharing program for employees, the first in America. He was head of the company from 1907 to 1930. William Cooper Procter joined the board of trustees for the Children's Hospital in Cincinnati (now known as Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center). In 1921, Procter was elected president of the new board of trusteess, a position he held until his death in 1934. Procter's leadership and philanthropy led to an expansion in the hospital's size, scope, mission and reputation. One of the board's first acts was to change the hospital's name from Protestant Episcopal Hospital to the Children's Hospital. ==External links==
